How are these HYROX times calculated?
Every figure is calculated at build time from the 630,757 finisher records (354,620 individual and 276,137 team results) in our results database, covering 378 events between 2024 and 2026.
- Median and percentiles: linear interpolation between ranked finish times. "Top 25%" is the 25th percentile time.
- Cleaning: finishes under 45 minutes or over 4 hours are excluded as timing errors (144 rows), as are duplicate listings of the same result across event IDs (2,559 rows) and rows with missing or invalid times (25,990 rows).
- Splits: run and station times come from the official splits; Roxzone is total minus run minus stations. Rows where that remainder is negative or above 20 minutes are left out of the split shares only.
- Teams: Doubles and Pro Doubles are one result per team. Pairing (men, women, mixed) comes from the athlete-profile dataset because team results carry no gender field.
- Sample sizes: Open Men n=188,637, Open Women n=101,803, Pro Men n=43,718, Pro Women n=20,462, Doubles n=245,641, Pro Doubles n=30,496. Age-group figures use the age group recorded by the organiser; groups under 200 finishers are not shown, and individual pages exist only for groups with 2,000+ finishers.
- Not included: athletes who did not finish, and unofficial or non-timed races. Small differences from the good HYROX time guide come from that page using a wider time filter and a separate athlete-profile dataset.
