This is what each benchmark finish time puts on your card. The percentile is the share of finishers in your division that you beat, and the card also shows the matching top-X% badge. Times are from 224,008 recorded race results.
| Division | Top 10% (faster than 90%) | Median (faster than 50%) |
|---|---|---|
| Open Men | 1:07:54 | 1:23:04 |
| Open Women | 1:15:01 | 1:30:39 |
| Pro Men | 1:04:23 | 1:18:16 |
| Pro Women | 1:10:01 | 1:24:49 |
Check: a time equal to the Open Men median shows 50%, and the P25 time shows 75%. Times between benchmarks are placed by straight-line interpolation.
What goes on the card
- Your name and race, if you add them. Both are optional.
- Finish time and division in large type.
- Faster-than percentile, a top-X% badge and a progress bar.
- Your splits next to the division median, or the division median and top-10% time if you skip splits.
- A roxupdates.com watermark at the bottom.
How this is calculated
The percentile uses the same method as the percentile calculator: five benchmark times per division (P10, P25, P50, P75, P90) from 224,008 recorded race results, with linear interpolation between them and a 1 to 99 cap at the tails. Division sizes range from 3,913 to 95,248 finishes. Split medians come from the same dataset.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make a HYROX result card for Instagram?
Enter your finish time and division, add your name, then tap download. The tool draws a 1080 by 1920 PNG on your device, the right size for an Instagram or TikTok story. Open the image in your photos, add it to a story, and tag your race. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
How is the percentile on the card calculated?
We compare your time with five benchmark times (P10, P25, P50, P75, P90) for your division, built from recorded race results. For Open Men that is 95,248 finishes. Your time is placed between the two nearest benchmarks by linear interpolation. An Open Men athlete finishing in 1:23:00 beats about 50%.
Do I need to add my splits?
No. Splits are optional. If you add them, the card lists each one next to the typical median for your division. If you leave them blank, the card shows your time, division and percentile, plus the division median and top-10% time for context. Use mm:ss for each split, for example 4:27.
Is my result stored or uploaded?
No. The card is drawn in your browser on a canvas and downloaded straight to your device. We do not receive your name, time or splits. If you copy the link to share the card settings, those values live in the link, so only send it to people you want to see them.
What size is the race card image?
It is a 1080 by 1920 pixel PNG, a 9:16 portrait image that fits Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp stories without cropping. The preview on the page is scaled down to fit your screen, but the downloaded file is full size. The roxupdates.com watermark sits at the bottom.
Can I make a card for Doubles or Pro?
Yes. Choose Open, Pro, Doubles or Pro Doubles in the division menu. The percentile compares you with finishers in that division and gender. Doubles times are for the team, so the percentile reflects how your pair ranks. Split medians in Doubles divisions are not comparable with solo splits, so check what you enter.
