Methodology and sources
Boards use public race results in the RoxUpdates dataset: Open and Pro singles finishes from Seasons 7 to 9. Each athlete appears once per board with their fastest time of the season, matched by their results slug. Boards by age group use the age group on the result; "all ages" boards include every age group of 16 to 24 and older. We publish a board only when it has at least 30 athletes and list the top 50. Times under 45 minutes or over 4 hours are dropped as errors, and a leader more than 8% faster than the division's fifth-fastest athlete of the season is removed as a timing or course error. This is not an official HYROX ranking. Championships and invitationals are included, so some times come from elite fields. The estimated rank in the calculator is read from the board's 21-point time distribution and scaled to its athlete count. Names link to athlete pages only where a page exists. RoxUpdates is independent and not affiliated with HYROX. Data refreshed 2026-10-25.
FAQ
HYROX rankings FAQ
Is there an official HYROX ranking?
This is not an official ranking. HYROX publishes race results and runs its own qualification pathways, including a points system for Elite 15 from 2026/27. Our leaderboard ranks each athlete by their single fastest time of the season in public results, by division and age group.
Who has the fastest HYROX time this season?
In Season 9 (2026/27), the fastest Open Men time in our data is 53:32 (Gdańsk 2026) and the fastest Open Women time is 58:46 (Oslo 2026). In Pro, the fastest are 53:30 for men and 56:14 for women. Boards change after every race weekend.
How are athletes ranked on the leaderboard?
Each athlete appears once per board, with their fastest time of the season in that division and age group. Ties go to the athlete listed first in the data. Boards need at least 30 athletes to be published, and we list the top 50.
Do course and venue affect rankings?
Yes. Race fields and conditions differ, so a time at a fast venue is not the same as one at a slow venue. The leaderboard shows the race behind each time. The race speed index compares venues after adjusting for who entered.
Are Doubles and Relay included?
No. Boards cover the four individual divisions: Open Men, Open Women, Pro Men and Pro Women. Doubles are team entries, and their age groups are mixed, so a time is not comparable to a single athlete. The fastest-times tracker lists Doubles separately.
How accurate is the estimated rank?
It is an estimate. We place your time in the board's time distribution and scale it to the number of athletes. It is close for mid-table times and less exact in the top 50, where the list above shows the real positions. A rank is only an estimate until your race appears in the results.
How often are the rankings updated?
Boards are rebuilt from public results whenever new races are added to the RoxUpdates dataset, usually within days of a race weekend. The current season is partial until the season ends, so its rankings will move. Last updated 2026-10-25.
