Notable
The 2026 World Championships at Strawberry Arena drew 6,625 athletes. Dylan Scott (USA) won the Elite 15 Men's world title in 53:47 with just 17 seconds covering the podium; Alyssa McElheny (USA) took Elite 15 Women in 56:59. Worlds runs a different division structure: age-group world titles were decided in the Pro divisions (Ryan Douglas 55:23, Saskia Millard 57:15), leaving only a small open-weight Open field — which is why the Open winning times sit well above the Elite times. No world records fell; Roncevic's 51:59 stands.
