What to watch for
Men's race: Alexander Rončević enters as the dominant force of 2025/26 with a 51:59 world record. Defending champion Tim Wenisch is targeting back-to-back titles — and the same pair are teaming up in Pro Doubles two days later, where Wenisch won the inaugural Elite15 doubles title in 2025.
Women's race: Joanna Wietrzyk arrives off the most dominant season in women's Hyrox history — first athlete ever to sweep all four Majors (Hamburg, Melbourne, Phoenix, Warsaw) plus a 54:25 world record set in Warsaw. Defending champion Linda Meier will be the strongest opposition.
Doubles: The men's Pro Doubles features the Rončević–Wenisch superteam. Whether they break Wenisch's 2025 winning time will be the headline of Saturday's racing.
Storyline: The 2025/26 season produced two world records before Worlds even started. Both could fall again on the biggest stage. With cooler indoor conditions at Strawberry Arena, the venue is technically faster than several Majors that produced the records.
