Gabe Heck wins Pro Men as Chinese athletes claim both Open titles at home

Hyrox Shanghai 2025 drew 9,546 finishers. Yu Chenglong won Open Men in 59:44 and Wang Yutong took Open Women in 1:02:07, a clean home sweep of both Open divisions. Gabe Heck (USA) won Pro Men in 56:11, and Zhu Fang claimed Pro Women in 1:03:57. The 9,546-strong field made Shanghai the largest HYROX event in China on record. Against the global Open Women median of ~1:31, Wang Yutong's 1:02:07 puts her among the fastest Open Women finishers in the sport's history.
