Race Recap

Largest North American Hyrox ever — 25,414 finishers across two weekends at Javits Center

Hyrox New York City 2026 ran across two weekends (May 28–Jun 7) at the Javits Center, finishing with 25,414 athletes — the largest Hyrox event in North American history, nearly matching Berlin's record field. Dylan Scott won Pro Men in 55:44. Derrik Sweeney won Open Men in 57:38 and Esther Seeland took Open Women in 1:01:24 — both podiums shifted after the second weekend of racing as later waves rewrote the early standings. Rachael Wade claimed Pro Women in 1:00:23, breaking the one-hour barrier. The 25,414-finisher count reflects the Javits format's ability to absorb a field that dwarfs any single-weekend North American event. Against the global Open Women median of ~1:31, Seeland's 1:01:24 places her among the fastest Open Women finishers on record.
