By Mathias Berger · Last updated 2026-05-28

Complete Hyrox race calendar with all event dates, cities, and registration links — updated for the current season.

Overview

The 2026 Hyrox season runs from April through December across 72 events in 29 countries. This is the largest calendar in Hyrox history, expanding significantly into Asia (6 Chinese cities, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Japan) and South America (Argentina, Brazil). The USA hosts the single largest national schedule with 9 events. Registration for early-season events (April–June) is already open; later events (November–December) are rolling to On Sale status through mid-year. This page is an unofficial summary — all dates and venues pulled directly from published event data.

Full Calendar

The calendar is concentrated in spring and autumn. April has 9 events kicking off with Brisbane (9–13 April), then Rotterdam, Cologne, Malaga, Warsaw, Monterrey, Paris, São Paulo, and Cardiff. May is the busiest single month with 15 events: Lisbon, Hong Kong, Helsinki, Barcelona, Heerenveen, Ottawa, Incheon, Puebla, Shanghai, Lyon, Berlin, New York City, Rimini, Johannesburg, and Riga. June slows to 3 events — Buenos Aires, Stockholm, Jakarta. July has Sydney and New Delhi alongside Hangzhou. August adds 5 events including Istanbul, Chiba, Cape Town, and Shenzhen. September has 10 events with Washington DC, Oslo, Maastricht, Mumbai, Salt Lake City, Bordeaux, Toronto, and Tenerife. October brings 11 events (Karlsruhe, Boston, Geneva, Gdańsk, Valencia, Tampa, Birmingham, Hamburg, Nice, Mexico City). November adds 9 more (Dublin, Düsseldorf, Denver, Seoul, Dallas, Poznań, Guangzhou, Rio, Utrecht). The season closes in December with London (2–6 Dec at ExCeL), Anaheim, Milan, Frankfurt, Nashville, Gent, and Vancouver. Season Structure

Hyrox runs on a season calendar aligned roughly with the European sports year. Season 8 ran from late 2024 through mid-2026. Season 9 — the current active calendar — covers the 2026 events listed in this guide. The World Championship for each season is held annually at a major European venue; qualification is earned by finishing time at any regular-season event, with cutoffs varying by division and gender. Within a season, every regular-season result counts toward world rankings. Rankings reset when a new season begins. The distinction matters practically: a race you run in April 2026 counts for 2026 season rankings, not a previous season's world championship pathway. If you are targeting a Championship qualification time, you need to race in the same season as the Championship you are aiming for — check hyrox.com for current qualification window dates.

New Cities 2026

The 2026 calendar adds significant new geography compared to 2024. Asia is the biggest expansion: Incheon (South Korea, May), Shanghai (May), Hangzhou (July), Chengdu (August), Shenzhen (August), Beijing (September), Guangzhou (November), Chiba (Japan, August), Jakarta (Indonesia, June), and New Delhi and Mumbai (India). South America adds Buenos Aires, Argentina (June) and Rio de Janeiro (November) alongside the returning São Paulo. North America adds Washington DC (September), Salt Lake City, Tampa, Nashville, Anaheim, Denver, and Dallas to the US schedule, plus Vancouver (Canada, December). Europe sees Riga (Latvia), Tenerife, Nice, and Gdańsk make appearances. This means athletes in Asia now have more than 10 events within their region, removing the need to travel internationally to race.

How To Register

Go to hyrox.com/find-my-race/ and select your target event. Registration opens in batches — some events open 6–9 months before the race date, others open 3–4 months out. The registration page for each event shows a countdown timer or an 'On Sale' button once live. Select your division (Open, Pro, Doubles, or Relay), choose a wave time, and complete payment online. Confirmation arrives by email and includes your bib number allocation and pre-race logistics pack. Early bird pricing — typically 10–20% below standard — is available in the first 2–4 weeks after registration opens for each event. For high-demand cities (London, New York City, Berlin), early bird spots often sell within 48 hours. To be notified of registration opening dates, follow @hyrox on Instagram or subscribe to the Hyrox newsletter — they announce dates 2–4 weeks before registration goes live. Wave times run from early morning through afternoon. Morning waves typically have a cooler venue floor and less congestion at stations; afternoon waves suit athletes who need more warm-up time. All waves race the identical course.

Travel And Visa Notes

For athletes racing internationally, entry requirements vary significantly by destination. EU citizens racing within the Schengen Area (Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Belgium, Portugal, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland) face no border checks. UK citizens entering Schengen countries for under 90 days need a valid passport but no visa through 2026, though the EU EES entry/exit system (expected to launch in 2026) may require pre-registration at some crossings — check UK government travel advice before departure. For long-haul international events: India (New Delhi, Mumbai) requires most Western passport holders to obtain an e-Visa via the Indian government portal, which takes 3–5 business days to process. Indonesia (Jakarta) offers a visa-on-arrival for most nationalities at major airports. Japan (Chiba) similarly offers visa-free entry for many countries for under 90 days. China (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou) has recently expanded its visa-free program to include many European and North American passports for stays under 15 days — verify your nationality's status via the Chinese embassy website before booking. South Korea (Incheon) is visa-free for most Western passports under 90 days. South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town) requires most EU and US citizens to apply for a tourist visa. Always verify requirements against your specific passport 4–8 weeks before travel, as policies change. Budget flights between European hyrox cities often require 6–8 weeks advance booking during the April–June peak events season.

Qualifier Pathways

There is no qualifier required to enter a standard Hyrox event — you register directly with no fitness or time threshold. However, Hyrox does maintain a World Championship qualification system for athletes aiming to compete at the annual Championship event. Qualification works on finishing time: if you complete a regular-season race and your time falls within the Championship cutoff for your division and age group, you automatically earn a qualifier spot. Cutoffs are not announced at the start of the season — they are set based on the field that year and communicated closer to the Championship date. Pro division athletes need to be tracking sub-70 minute times for men and sub-80 minutes for women to be in realistic qualifying territory for most seasons, but these thresholds have tightened year on year as the field grows. For Open division, finishing in the top 2–5% at a large event tends to indicate Championship-qualifying fitness. The safest approach if you are targeting Championship qualification is to race early in the season (April–June), leaving time to race again at a later event if your time falls short. Racing at a large event like Berlin, New York, or London also ensures your result is in the official timing database promptly.

Sold Out Events

As of May 2026, 20 events have already taken place. Of the remaining 52 events, Mumbai (18–20 September) is the only Sold Out entry. London, New York, and Berlin are expected to sell out within weeks of registration opening — set calendar alerts and register early for these flagship cities. Events showing 'On Sale' have open slots now; 'Coming Soon' means registration has not yet opened; 'Past' events have already raced. Smaller or newer cities (Riga, Gdańsk, Geneva, Tenerife) rarely sell out fully and are solid alternatives if your target date is sold out elsewhere. The race experience is identical regardless of city size — same format, same stations, same weights. If your preferred event fills up, there are usually 10–15 events within any 6-week window across the global calendar.

Status Terminology

The Hyrox event calendar uses four status labels. 'On Sale' means registration is open and slots are available — you can register now on hyrox.com. 'Coming Soon' means the event is confirmed and announced but registration has not yet opened; these events typically go On Sale 2–6 months before the race date. 'Not Yet Announced' means the event appears in the preliminary calendar with an approximate date but has not been fully confirmed — venue, exact dates, and registration details may still change. 'Sold Out' means all participant slots are filled; occasionally waitlists open, which you can join through the event page. Venue shown as 'TBC' (To Be Confirmed) for Not Yet Announced events does not mean the event is uncertain — it means the venue contract has not been publicised yet. Historical precedent shows most TBC venues are confirmed 3–4 months before the race date. Check hyrox.com/find-my-race/ for the most current status on any specific event.

By Country

Looking for events in your country? Dedicated per-country pages list every event with dates, venues, registration status, and city detail pages. Available regional schedules: USA (9 events), Germany (6 events), China (6 events), Netherlands (4 events), Spain (4 events), France (4 events), Mexico (4 events), UK (3 events), Poland (3 events), and Canada (3 events).

Key Events For First Timers

If you are choosing your first Hyrox, city size and event atmosphere matter as much as date. London (2–6 December at ExCeL London) is the flagship UK event with 5,000+ athletes — large and electric, but potentially overwhelming as a debut. New York City (28 May–7 June at Javits Center) is the biggest North American event. Berlin (22–31 May at Messe Berlin) runs across 10 days with multiple daily waves. For a first race with less crowding and easier logistics, upcoming options include: Stockholm (18–21 June) for a well-organized summer event in Europe; Jakarta (27–28 June at Jakarta International Expo) for Southeast Asia first-timers; Sydney (1–5 July at ICC Sydney) for Australia and the Asia-Pacific region; New Delhi (24–26 July at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka) for South Asia. In autumn, Maastricht (17–20 September) in the Netherlands and Oslo (25–27 September) are both mid-sized, well-organized events popular with first-timers. Smaller events typically have faster check-in, shorter station queues, and easier spectator access — all of which reduce race-day stress for a debut.
